Raleigh Care Ltd is a growing dynamic company, we are developing a tradition of recruiting people providing growth opportunities and allowing them to develop and grow with the company. There is an on-going programme of recruitment, tailored to meet our needs as a progressive, developing and expanding residential childcare provider.

 

We have a thorough streamlined procedure for recruitment and selection that is constantly reviewed. Applicants are asked to complete an application form. We will consider CV's for initial short listing.

 

There is a two-stage interview. Stage one consists of oral questions from an interview panel. Stage two is written questions about some aspect of the residential task.

 

Enhanced CRB checks, three references (one of which must be from a current or most recent employer); agree salary and enhancement packages, training opportunities, opportunities for learning and development complete the recruitment process.

 

On commencement, all staff undergo a comprehensive induction and training programme, tailored to meet their individual needs. All residential staff appointed must either hold NVQ 3 or be prepared to undertake this training. We will enrol staff on successful completion of their six-month probationary period.

 

At the six month stage there is an interview to confirm the candidate in post. Confirmation can be deferred if is perceived that insufficient progress has been made. This interview will also set out the learning objectives, developmental plan and training needs of the employee. At the twelve-month stage and annually from thereon there will be a full job appraisal.
